PHNOM PENH: Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen claimed that future Kampot will grow strong economic potential and attract investors. In the meantime, the Royal Government is currently expanding the National Road No.3, planning a deep-water port and many other physical infrastructures.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen on 25th January spoke at a ceremony with 11738 workers from 12 factories in Kampot province that “As we have seen, four-lane expressway will be expanding for national road 3 and the connect to Kampot and continues to expand to Sihanoukville. Kampot’s deep-water ports will convenience a lot of production. Kampot’s transport sector with roads, waterways and railways”
Samdech Techo also said that Cambodia is not relying only on one sector but also agriculture, agro-industry, tourism, construction, etc., aim to reach a high average- income country by 2030 and a high-income country by 2050.
Samdech Techo added that Cambodia government have been working on deepen- reform to contribute to the country development such as electricity tariff cutting, ending the Camcontrol presence and others related at the border, with only the immigration and customs police, intending to less the complexity and informal spending. This is gradually progressing by five methods, looking at the mirror, bathing, scrubbing, treating and surgery.[:]
