Phnom Penh: US President Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un, who meet each other in Vietnam, scheduled to be held on February 27-28, will see what results as hostilities between the two countries are reduced.
The outcome of the first summit on June 12, 2018 has reduced tensions between the two countries and the United States, but North Korea’s nuclear program has been in disagreement between the United States and North Korea due to technical differences on nuclear disarm or completely dissolving the nuclear weapons from North Korea.
Friendship
The friendship between the North Korea and China cannot be separated because of the many reasons that. First, China and North Korea are friend and in a kinship that China is always a back the North Korea in international politics, trade and humanitarian assistance. Second, China will not allow the North Korea to be in a liberal blog because if the North Korea becomes a liberal country, China will be in intolerance and sensitive. Third, the Donald Trump’s strategy to pull the North Korea from the communist blog, is not a story that China does not know and fourth, the North Korea itself will not open up too much, because if the North Korea opens up and walks away from the communist blog, it is like committing suicide.
So the sun on the North Korea’s land is not a new sun that would be created artificially by the U.S. but it’s the same sun that’s shining brighter after decades of cloud cover.
Kim Jong-un begins to grab the economy
Of course, the North Korea is benefiting from the first meeting between Donald Trump and Kim or Rocket Man, with the number of international tourists visiting North Korea more than ever, the relief of the two Koreas (the North and the South Korea) is made to bring the prosperity to this isolated nation in the future.
After the first meeting, the (Kaohsiung) Special Economic Zone was reopened and Diamond Resort, which borders the two countries, opened the door to welcoming international tourists, in particular the South Korean tourists that the open is called “a direct removal of sanction from the United States” for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), with South Korea acting as its substitute.
Kim Jong-Un, who studied in Switzerland, really enjoys free ideology in his heart, so the first meeting with Donald Tram, as well as the second, is not a reflection of peace or harmony, but it is a gradual withdrawal from its friend countries to seek autonomy itself and end the hunger and poverty of its own nation.
China’s Stance
Choosing a city of Vietnam to host a summit of the US leaders and Kim Jong-Un, it is less or more unhappy for China which always back the DPRK and China must show to the international stage that it is kind to support the global peace and order.
With North Korea’s comprehensive openness, China will also open more money package to provide aid as well as to increase investment in North Korea, so the country director to a certain point right now is Mr. Kim and whether or not Mr. Kim is smart enough to take advantage of his nationality depends on his intelligence and balance.
In a tense meeting to tackle the trade war between China and the U.S., it has already become a headache for Chinese leaders as President Donald J. Trump plans to increase customs duties on Chinese goods with another $200 billion and threatens to increase customs duties on the rest of goods importing into the U.S in the future.
Therefore, China will not lose its friendship, because if China ignores this, it will give bad result. First, it is like giving the first knock to the United States on its head. Second, it will weaken the communist bloc and make its home invaded by its enemy. Thirdly, China would lose regional influence and make it appear that China fails in the international politics.
The U.S. President Donald Trump said clearly that, “If I am not elected to the president, then we (the United States and the DPRK) will be in a huge war now.”
The message has already confirmed that the United States does not want to have a war with the North Korea. Although the United States has been heavily militarized, the United States does not underestimate the North’s capabilities, and what to take care more is the protection of its friendship with Japan and South Korea that the leaders of the two countries are always insomnia or awake in the middle of the night when North Korea tested nuclear weapons at a time.
Donald Trump not only wants to reduce the impact of China on the Korean Peninsula, but also to profit its economy, but this man does not have a broader hand for countries because he (Trump) is full of himself.
Therefore, the result of this meeting, if there is a big fruitful result, is also a determining factor in the future of his second election.
The US president, a pro-conservative protector which finds profit has not spent much cost. Obviously, after the first meeting on June 12, it put the expenditure and responsibility for denuclearizing the country’s nuclear weapons program on South Korea and Japan to be in charge of spending.
Expectations of meeting results
Clearly, the upcoming second meeting between the two leaders will have more or less results which happen for the North Korea leaders, and the North Korea will benefit more from the US, China, and other countries that is crucial for Kim to rebuild his own economy and society.
Thus, Kim Jong-Un’s decision must be carried out with common sense and responsibility, based on many fundamental factors. First, it is to think of the gratitude as the grandfather and his father build a greater country in the international stage (Even though in poor situation. Second, it needs to balance with his friends, who used to help his country when it was poor in the third century. Third, brotherhood relationship with South Korea is also a sensitive issue for Kim, who had to analyze comprehensively.
Last, it has to think of friendship between the North Korea, Russia and its fellow partner countries who are the enemies against the U.S. in the past and present.
In summary, the second round of Kim and Donald Trump will not have a significant result, and a nuclear disarmament will not happen. The benefactors of the meeting came to Kim Jong-un rather than Trump because of the legacy of geopolitics, political history, international relations, and friendly ties with China, which would affect Kim’s decision.
