Phnom Penh’s office space is on the rise this year as 13 office buildings will end this year, which will bring down the overall utilization rate in the future.
According to a survey conducted by CBRE Cambodia last week, office buildings will be completed this year, four of which will be co-owned by four, and nine will be owned by a single owner. Increasing supply to 18percent and bringing the total office space of nearly 400,000 square meters into Phnom Penh.
Ann Sothida, director of CBRE Cambodia, said on Thursday, February 15 that, “The increase in the supply of the office building will bring down the overall share of overall consumption, with the current coverage rate of over 80 percent, but after 13 projects launched, the overall utilization rate will fall to 78.5 percent.
The most popular office market in Cambodia is Class B, and C office space, because it is affordable and new targets for new and medium-sized companies.
Office space in Cambodia for office Grade A ranges between $18 and $36, and the office space Grade B costs between $17 and $ 12, and prices ranging from $ 12 per square meter to Grade C office buildings.
