Guilin City: On the afternoon of October 29, 2025, with the high approval of the Royal Government to lead a delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and the Cambodian private sector to attend the “14th Suzhou Cultural and Creative Design Industry Expo” and the “Cambodia Festival” in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, H.E. Mr. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, grants Mr. MA Tieqiao, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Guilin Junda Transportation Co., Ltd., and his esteemed colleagues to meet and discuss work and report on the results of the feasibility study on the Siem Reap River Development Project made in September 2025.

In this important and fruitful meeting, H.E Minister appreciated and highly commended the company’s initiative to invest hundreds of millions of US dollars, which is interested in the dynamic tourism potential of Cambodia, an emerging market, as well as the strong belief in the wise leadership and long-term vision of the Royal Government of Cambodia, which continues to ensure peace, political, economic and social stability, helping to ensure continuous development in all sectors, especially infrastructure supporting the tourism sector and ensuring the safety of national and international tourists. H.E Minister emphasized that this second meeting is indeed another step towards the practical implementation of a large investment project and is important for the investment sector.
In response, the Chairman of the company expressed his deep gratitude to H.E the Minister and the leadership of the Ministry of Tourism for allowing him the opportunity to meet, pay a courtesy call, discuss work and report on the company’s study results. The next step is for the company to prepare a formal application for permission from the Royal Government of Cambodia.
