China. China Association for the Promotion of Culture and Arts Development Commits to Cooperating with the Ministry of Tourism to Promote Cambodia–China Cultural Exchanges and Joint Tourism Promotion.
Beijing: On the occasion of accompanying Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, during his working visit to Beijing and attendance at the 2026 World AI Conference and High-Level Meeting on Global AI Governance, held from 15 to 17 July 2026 in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, and with the gracious authorization of the Prime Minister, H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, took the opportunity to hold a working meeting with Mr. Yang Xiaoyang, President of the China Association for the Promotion of Culture and Arts Development, and his delegation on the afternoon of 15 July 2026 in Beijing.
During the fruitful meeting, H.E. the Minister briefed the Association’s President on Cambodia’s tourism potential and the latest developments in the sector, as well as the Royal Government of Cambodia’s efforts to completely eliminate online scam activities and its visa exemption policy for Chinese citizens. He also highlighted the longstanding and strong traditional friendship between Cambodia and China, particularly the building of an all-weather Cambodia–China community with a shared future in the new era.
