US$17m development project approved Koh Tbal in Kep province

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given the permit to TRY PHEAP KOH TUNSAY RESORTS CO., LTD ​ to build in US$17-million development project on Koh Tbal in Kep province.

The project will create 105 jobs; however, CDC did not specify the detail of the project, saying it is a tourism-related project.

Koh Tbal is located close to Kep, about a kilometer and a half South-East of the renowned Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island). This island is a thousand meters long and 600 meters wide.

Koh Tonsay is also being developed by Try Pheap Group under a capital of US$130 million. The project is mixed-use development covering an area of ​​140 hectares, while construction has begun in 2021.
