Phnom Penh: Co-founder and CEO of Propertyarea.asia & Cambodiafinancialtimes.com, Mr. Yin Leangkong, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Asian Hub Co, Ltd, which represents five major news organizations in South Korea.
The signing ceremony on the morning of November 26 was also attended by CEO of CEN.COM.KH, Mr. An Chanthla, and Mr. Soy Rithy, Marketing Director of Deum Ampil News, along with Ms. Jinhee Choi, CEO of Asian hub Co,Ltd.
The purpose of the memorandum is to share information with each other, as Korean media outlets under the umbrella of Asian Hub will collect information related to the economy, society, culture, and tourism from the three websites, and the three Cambodian media outlets will collect information from the five major media outlets of Asian Hub and publish it free of charge.
Mr. Yin Leangkong said that the online website Propertyarea.asia, which has been operating for more than 7 years, has been remarkably successful, with recognition from national and international circles.
He said, “The collaboration with Asianhub is in line with his vision to contribute to the dissemination of information that highlights the positive and demonstrates the foundations of Cambodia’s socio-economic development to a broader international audience.”
“Our vision is aligned with the other two media organizations that have been working with the Royal Government to build trust and disseminate information about Cambodia’s development to the international arena,” he said.
He said, “This is a win-win situation and I am very happy to collaborate on this important work.”
Meanwhile, Mr. An Chanthla, CEO of online media outlet Cen.com.kh, said that this collaboration is good in sharing information from each other between the two countries regarding economy, trade, culture and folster mutual tourism promotion, etc.
He said, “This collaboration will help us to disseminate information widely to increase mutual understanding between the people of the two countries.”
