      Phnom Penh, H.E. Mr. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, granted an audience to Neak Oknha SAM Ang Vattanac, Governor and Executive Director of Vattanac Golf Resort, and his colleagues for a courtesy meeting and discussion on the organization of the Vattanac Legends Championship, an international-standard tournament being held in Cambodia for the first time.

A total of 60 rising professional golfers from 16 countries (Argentina, France, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, India, New Zealand, Brazil, Austria, England, Germany, South Africa, Northern Ireland, and Italy) will take part in this remarkable sports tourism event.

During the meeting, H.E. Minister expressed his admiration, deep appreciation, and gratitude to Neak Oknha and the Vattanac Group for their consistent collaboration and generous support across all events, exhibitions, and programs of the Ministry of Tourism, which have greatly contributed to the development of Cambodia’s tourism sector and the enhancement of the country’s international image.

H.E. Minister also emphasized that hosting an international-standard sports event demonstrates to the world that Cambodia is a safe and capable destination, fully prepared to organize events of this scale. The Ministry of Tourism fully supports the organization of the Vattanac Legends Championship and will continue providing close cooperation to ensure the success of the upcoming event.
