Phnom Penh, H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, Leads a High-Level Delegation of the Ministry of Tourism and the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) to Yangon, Myanmar.
H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, leading a high-level delegation of the Ministry of Tourism and the Board of Directors of the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB), arrived safely in Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
With the high approval of the Royal Government of Cambodia, H.E. Huot Hak led a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and the Cambodia Tourism Board (CTB) to Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Upon arrival, the delegation received a warm welcome from H.E. Maung Maung Kyaw, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture of Myanmar, and H.E. Cheng Manith, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The delegation is attending high-level regional tourism cooperation meetings under the framework of the Mekong Tourism Forum 2026 and related events, taking place from 15 to 17 June 2026 in Yangon, Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
This high-level regional tourism cooperation event is organized by the Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar under the theme “Tourism for the People, Meaningful Travel.”
The forum serves as a regional platform for countries and stakeholders to exchange views, strengthen regional cooperation, and promote sustainable tourism development, with a strong focus on improving the livelihoods of local communities across the Greater Mekong Subregion.
