       Phnom Penh., H.E Minister Huot Hak Supports the “Cambodia So Much Fun” Tourism Promotion Program Produced by Production Company and Well-Known Influencers, Including Pu Barang.

 

His Excellency Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, received Mr. Jeremie Alliance Piquard (Pu Barang) and the production team of the “Cambodia So Much Fun” program for a courtesy call and working discussion on cooperation in promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential and seeking the Ministry’s support for producing tourism content that showcases Cambodia’s culture, traditions, local way of life, and authentic travel experiences at the Ministry of Tourism.

During this productive meeting, Mr. Jeremie Alliance Piquard (Pu Barang) expressed his sincere appreciation to the Minister for granting him and his team the opportunity to present the first season of the “Cambodia So Much Fun”program. The project aims to promote Cambodia’s tourism potential by highlighting the country’s natural beauty, cultural heritage, customs, traditions, local lifestyles, and authentic travel experiences across various tourist destinations.

Mr. Piquard also sought the Ministry’s support for the initiative and reaffirmed his team’s commitment to producing high-quality content that reflects Cambodia’s peace, safety, the diversity of its tourism destinations, and the uniqueness of its local communities. Through social media and digital platforms, the program seeks to present Cambodia as a destination rich in authentic experiences, cultural heritage, and warm hospitality, thereby attracting more domestic and international visitors to the Kingdom.

In response, H.E. Minister Huot Hak highly commended and expressed his appreciation for the initiative undertaken by Mr. Jeremie Alliance Piquard (Pu Barang) and his team in producing the “Cambodia So Much Fun” program, which contributes to promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential to both Cambodian and international audiences. He noted that tourism has been recognized as “Green Gold” by Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Acting Head of State and President of the Senate, and as the “Backbone of the Economy” by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

At the same time, Minister also suggested the production team to place strong emphasis on maintaining high standards of content and visual quality throughout every episode while showcasing Cambodia’s distinctive identity. This includes highlighting the country’s culture, customs, traditions, local lifestyles, and community-based activities such as rice harvesting, palm sugar production, and traditional festivals. These elements will help demonstrate that “Cambodian tourism is tourism centered on authentic experiences.”

Furthermore, the Minister encouraged the team to continue promoting positive stories and Cambodia’s tourism potential through social media and various media platforms in support of the “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season” campaign. He also urged continued close cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism to further expand the promotion of Cambodia to domestic and international audiences and strengthen awareness of the country’s tourism sector.
