It also sought to attract foreign filmmakers to choose Cambodia as a filming destination and inspire international visitors to discover and experience Cambodia firsthand.

On the occasion, H.E. the Minister expressed his appreciation and highly commended the Cambodia Film Association for its continued efforts and valuable contribution to the development of Cambodia’s film industry.

H.E. the Minister emphasized: “Film is a powerful form of soft power that can bring the image of Cambodia into the hearts of millions of viewers around the world and inspire them to come and experience Cambodia for themselves.”.

Meanwhile, Mr. Chhay Bora, President of the Cambodia Film Association, briefed H.E. the Minister on the Association’s key achievements to date, existing challenges, requests, and future directions, with the aim of contributing to the further development of Cambodia’s film industry and film tourism, making them more vibrant and competitive.
