Phnom Penh – COLDWELL BANKER Cambodia, the local branch of the century-old US-based real estate firm, has officially expanded its presence in the Kingdom.
The company’s launch ceremony was presided by Preap Kol, Minister attached to the Prime Minister, host to the soft opening ceremony.
At the company’s launch ceremony on August 18, COLDWELL BANKER Cambodia CEO Ken Lo noted that the recent reduction of the US reciprocal tariff on Cambodian goods to 19 percent by President Donald Trump is a positive development for the economy and is expected to attract more American investors to Cambodia.
“The presence of COLDWELL BANKER Cambodia signals positive momentum for the Cambodian real estate market,” Lo said. “With operations in over 50 countries, more than 4,000 offices, and a network of over 100,000 agents worldwide, we bring international expertise and confidence to the sector.”
He added that the company will focus on both luxury and general real estate segments to help promote the continued growth of Cambodia’s property market and strengthen confidence among international investors. COLDWELL BANKER Cambodia will also offer franchise opportunities to those interested in entering the sector, supported by the company’s high-standard training and professional development system, which is based on the United States’ best practices, along with access to its extensive global network.
Meanwhile, Oknha Cheng Kheng, CEO of CPL and a guest of honor at the event, highlighted the significance of the company’s arrival. “COLDWELL BANKER is a well-established firm with more than 100 years of history,” he said. “We can work together and grow together, as reaching this point has required us to overcome many challenges.”
Oknha Son Seap, President of the Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA), also welcomed the expansion. He noted that the company’s entry into the Cambodian market is a positive sign for the sector, adding: “We will continue to move forward together to make this industry more prosperous and attract greater investment.”
