A significant step toward strengthening international real estate collaboration was taken during the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Conference & Exhibition in Houston, Texas, as the Japan America Real Estate Coalition Office (JARECO) and the Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The ceremony, held on the sidelines of one of the world’s largest real estate gatherings, brought together leaders from both organizations in a shared commitment to expand professional ties, market knowledge, and cross-border opportunities for their members. The MoU represents a milestone in building a bridge between two dynamic real estate markets in Asia, fostering cooperation that benefits practitioners in both countries.
According to the terms of the MoU, JARECO—an association representing more than 90 real estate companies and professionals in Japan—and CVEA—which represents over 88 member companies in Cambodia—have agreed to promote reciprocal opportunities in business development, professional training, and international market exposure. The agreement emphasizes the organizations’ shared belief in the value of global collaboration and their dedication to supporting members with broader access to international networks.
