Siem Reap, Under the guidance of H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, the Siem Reap Provincial Department of Tourism warmly welcomed 157 passengers, including 66 women, at the Siem Reap International Airport on the occasion of Firefly Airlines’ first direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia. The aircraft landed safely.
Please be informed that the airline will continue operating flights to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport three times per week—every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday—using a Boeing 737-800 (B738) aircraft.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, the tourists expressed that they had a safe and pleasant journey to Siem Reap. They further shared that passing through this airport was a refreshing experience, accompanied by beautiful scenery. In particular, many said they were eager to see Angkor Wat, a long-awaited dream destination.
At the same time, all tourists arriving in Siem Reap stated that they had no security concerns, even though Cambodia currently has border tensions with a neighboring country. They added that upon returning to their home countries, they intend to promote the beautiful tourist attractions of Siem Reap to their families and fellow travelers, encouraging them to visit the province as well.
