Phnom Penh. H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, presided over a meeting to review progress and strengthen public relations and information work with the following objectives.

  • to reinforce and introduce new strategies for

four working groups—Spokespersons, Influencers, Media, and Digital Transformation; (2) to enhance cohesion and harmony among teams; and (3) to improve overall effectiveness through a unified, system-based approach.

  • The meeting also assessed strengths

weaknesses, past challenges, responses to requests, and outlined future directions to address emerging issues.

The meeting was attended by senior ministry leadership, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, department heads and deputies, representatives of the Tourism Marketing and Promotion Board Abroad, and a total of 40 officials.

On this occasion, H.E. the Minister emphasized that public relations and information work must be strengthened into an integrated and well-coordinated system, with comprehensive collaboration. He stressed the importance of being well-prepared in advance—proactively, actively, and consistently—within the tourism information landscape, likening it to “pouring clean water into muddy water.”
