China,The Chairman of the Sanya Tourism Board will lead major tourism enterprises on a Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip) to Cambodia and promote Cambodia’s visa exemption policy for Chinese citizens in June.
H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, led a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and representatives from the private sector to hold a working discussion and high-level exchange of views with Mr. Zhang Hao, Chairman of the Sanya Tourism Board, together with chairpersons of major tourism enterprises and federations from various sectors of the tourism industry, on strengthening and expanding tourism cooperation between Cambodia and Sanya City in a more practical and effective manner in Sanya City, Hainan Province.
During the in-depth and practical discussions covering all aspects of tourism cooperation, Mr. Zhang Hao warmly welcomed the working visit of H.E. the Minister and the high-level delegation from the Ministry of Tourism and the private sector to Sanya City. He also expressed strong interest in Cambodia’s peace, political stability, development across all sectors, and tourism potential, especially the cultural and historical tourism destination of Siem Reap Province, which is a famous and popular destination among Chinese tourists, as well as Cambodia’s upcoming visa exemption policy for Chinese visitors in June.
