Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, received Ms. Aida Ismail, Regional Director and representative of Hadid International Services (HADID), together with her senior delegation, for a courtesy call and working discussion at the Ministry of Tourism. The meeting focused on strengthening tourism cooperation, promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential internationally, and enhancing the company’s air connectivity and aviation services to Cambodia.

During the meeting, Ms. Aida Ismail expressed her sincere appreciation to the Minister for granting the delegation an opportunity to discuss potential areas of cooperation. She introduced Hadid Aviation’s background and global operations as one of the world’s leading providers of international aviation support services.

She also reaffirmed the company’s intention to collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism in promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential worldwide through its extensive international partner network, international promotional events, and global media platforms.

Furthermore, the company shared its interest in expanding aviation-related services in Cambodia, including Jet Charter and MEDEVAC (medical evacuation) operations. In addition, Hadid presented its initiative to publish books highlighting Cambodia’s stories, culture, and tourism potential, with translations into more than 30 to 50 languages to introduce Cambodia to a wider global audience.

In response, Minister Huot Hak highly appreciated and commended the company’s initiative to contribute to the promotion of Cambodia’s tourism sector and to strengthen air connectivity between the Middle East and both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. The Minister also encouraged the company to explore the possibility of organizing Familiarization Trips (FAM Trips) to attract tourists and investors from the United Arab Emirates and the wider Middle East to Cambodia.

He further proposed that the company study the feasibility of introducing direct flights or expanding private aviation services, particularly to Siem Reap, while supporting the development of VIP tourism and business aviation. At the same time, the Minister requested Hadid to continue promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential through the company’s communication platforms, including its showrooms, social media channels, and in-flight entertainment screens, in support of the “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season” campaign, while also promoting Cambodia as a welcoming destination for Muslim travelers.
