International Content Creators Say Cambodia Is a Rising Star Captivating Southeast Asia

       Phnom Penh. H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from Mr. Alan Wurman Rodrich, a Chilean content creator and founder of Alan’s Theory; Mr. Lars Aage Haaland Christiansen, a Norwegian entrepreneur, vehicle owner, and co-founder of Cyberlocos; Mr. Arisa Nelson Saisi, a Kenyan influencer and content creator; Mr. Joachim Cerin Bekkevold, a Norwegian entrepreneur and podcast creator focusing on Cambodian culture and investment opportunities; and Mr. Ilia Berezin, a Russian content creator and model.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector, particularly through promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential and producing digital content that showcases the country’s authentic image to audiences around the world. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Tourism.

 

During the discussion, Mr. Alan Wurman Rodrich and Mr. Lars Aage Haaland Christiansen expressed their sincere appreciation to H.E. the Minister for receiving the delegation. They presented the missions and activities of Alan’s Theory and Cyberlocos, two influential international travel content platforms dedicated to promoting Cambodia as a premier travel destination.

Through high-quality videos and digital storytelling, the two platforms aim to share authentic travel experiences while highlighting Cambodia’s rich culture, traditions, local communities, daily life, and the warmth and hospitality of its people. They also emphasized their commitment to raising global awareness of sustainable tourism and responsible travel.

Both sides agreed to further strengthen their cooperation in promoting Cambodia’s tourism through the creation and dissemination of engaging digital content showcasing the Kingdom’s tourism assets, cultural heritage, natural attractions, and authentic experiences. They also pledged to support the “Visit Cambodia in the Green Season” campaign and the national tourism slogan, “Everyone Is an Ambassador for Cambodia’s Tourism,” with the shared goal of attracting more international visitors.

 

In response, H.E. the Minister highly appreciated the missions of Cyberlocos and Alan’s Theory in leveraging digital media to connect people across cultures and promote sustainable tourism. He encouraged the content creators to continue sharing Cambodia’s authentic story with the world, particularly emphasizing the country’s peace, security, safety, and the genuine hospitality of the Cambodian people.

 

H.E. The Minister also invited the team to produce short-form videos and digital content featuring Cambodia’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, iconic tourist destinations, and authentic travel experiences to inspire more international travelers to visit the Kingdom.

 

It is worth noting that Cyberlocos is a global expedition project traveling around the world in electric vehicles. To date, the team has covered more than 100,000 kilometers across over 80 countries and is continuing its journey in pursuit of a Guinness World Records achievement.

Meanwhile, Alan’s Theory is a renowned international travel content platform. Mr. Alan has visited more than 115 countries and has built a social media following of over 1.8 million people, with his content reaching hundreds of millions of viewers worldwide.
