Sar Soputra, Governor of Stung Treng Province, along with senior officials and relevant stakeholders, visited the various exhibition booths organized as part of the 2026 Green Season Tourism Event in Stung Treng Province.
The exhibition showcased a diverse range of local products and tourism potential, including community-based products, agricultural products, handicrafts, souvenirs, local cuisine, and various creative products that reflect the distinctive identity, culture, traditions, and livelihoods of local communities in Stung Treng Province and across Cambodia’s northeastern region.

During the visit, H.E. the Minister engaged with entrepreneurs, business owners, and community representatives, encouraging them to continue enhancing product quality, standards, hygiene, packaging, and design, while fostering greater creativity and attractiveness in order to increase added value and strengthen market competitiveness.
H.E. the Minister also underscored the importance of “linking local products with the tourism market,” encouraging tourism businesses, hotels, restaurants, and related service providers to increase the use of products made by local producers and communities. Such efforts not only help expand market opportunities for locally produced goods, but also contribute to generating income, creating employment opportunities, and ensuring that the benefits of tourism are more widely distributed among local communities.
