Kratie.Through the Implementation of Kratie Province’s Tourism Development Plan 2026–2030, Kratie Will Become the Most Attractive Model Province in the Northeastern Region!
Kratie Province: H.E. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, together with H.E. VA Than, Governor of Kratie Province, presided over the official launch ceremony of the “Tourism Development Plan for Kratie Province 2026–2030” and the certificate award ceremony for trainees who completed the HoKa Cambodia Hospitality Training Course.
This significant event was attended by Their Excellencies and Ladies representing the leadership of the Ministry of Tourism, representatives from relevant sub-national line departments and units, local authorities at all levels, armed forces, tourism operators, tourism communities, educational institutions, content creators, and trainees, totaling around 300 participants.
Speaking on this occasion, the Minister emphasized that the Tourism Development Plan for Kratie Province 2026–2030 serves as a joint roadmap and a practical action framework to mobilize all stakeholders to collaborate on developing Kratie’s tourism with higher quality and enhanced attractiveness. The ultimate vision over the next five years is to transform Kratie into a paradise destination for eco-tourism and cultural tourism, as well as the most attractive model province in the northeastern region.
The Minister further highlighted that amidst intensifying regional tourism competition and evolving tourist behavior, the province must build upon its existing potential by continuously creating new tourism products, upgrading and reinforcing service quality, enhancing attractiveness, and bolstering safety and security for visitors. This ensures Kratie can meet the demands of a new generation of tourists and keep pace with the era of competition among major regional and global destinations.
